As per reports, six students had gone to Vedvyas temple. They then went to the river to take a bath. While bathing they reportedly slipped into the deep of the river. “It’s a shocking incident. We are going to introduce a Biometric Attendance system for our students.  The same system will be applicable for those students coming for internship. So that we can know who is out of the campus and when they have left,” said the registrar of NIT Rourkela Rohan Dhiman.
